About Stage of Learning Preschool |

Stage of Learning Preschool is dedicated to the education and enrichment of young children! Open since the fall of 2016, we welcome students ages 3-5 to learn and grow through academics and an appreciation of the arts. Students will focus on Kindergarten readiness while exploring their creativity! Music, singing, dance and art are regular components of our curriculum, complimenting the traditional reading, science and math studies.

Susan Farrington
Susan has her bachelor's degree in education from Westfield State College in Massachusetts. She has been teaching young children for more than twenty years and has been a lead preschool teacher since 1996. Susan has also been a Program Facilitator for the Girl Scouts, a summer camp director, and a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer. She is enthusiastic about learning and loves seeing children grasp new concepts. She is excited to bring her ideas and creativity to preschoolers at Stage of Learning Preschool and give them a strong foundation for kindergarten. Susan relocated to Idaho to be closer to her family. She enjoys paddle boarding and traveling to new places where she can play in the water. |

Dotty Hancock
Dotty, a Boise native, earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication from Boise State University (2001). Coming from a family of educators, she understands and appreciates the importance of a strong educational foundation. Dotty enjoys working with students of all ages, but specializes in the dance education for little ones and is excited to broaden the educational opportunities for preschoolers in the area through the Stage of Learning Preschool! Dotty is married to Dave Hancock and they have two children, Kalli and Andrew! |
